The package contains
1 x BakeRolls Cannoli Set (set of 10)
Ingredients for the dough rolls:
- 250 g flour
- 30 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 30 g butter (cold, in pieces)
- 1 egg
- 60 ml white wine or water
- Oil for frying
For the filling:
- 250 g ricotta
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: Chocolate chips, lemon zest, chopped pistachios
Preparation:
- Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Work in butter, then add egg and wine/water. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, then roll out thinly and cut out circles.
- Wrap each dough circle around a BakeRolls™ mold piece and seal well.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown, drain, and carefully remove from the mold.
- For the filling, beat ricotta with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy. Refine as desired.
- Use a piping bag to fill the cooled cannoli.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately. Buon appetito!
Tip: For extra crunch, dip the ends in melted chocolate!
