How to use it:

1. Insert the desired blade and set the blade to the correct depth.
2. Make a test cut on a piece of wood to check the result before starting your project.
3. Press the tool firmly against the corner of the wood edge.
4. Slide the tool over the wood with consistent pressure. Try to make a smooth cut and do not stop halfway.
5. Clean the edge if necessary. You may need to make a second cut to remove burrs or use a file if your material has knots or irregularities.
6. Handling harder materials. If you find the material difficult to cut, make a shallower cut before the final cut.

Replacing the blade

1. Remove the blade by turning the adjustment knob to push the blade out.
2. Keep turning until you can take out the blade.
3. Insert the new blade. Hold the adjustment knob firmly and insert the new blade.
4. Adjust the blade depth. Turn the adjustment knob to retract the new blade.

Cleaning after use

1. Brush off debris. The tool only needs to be cleared of wood debris around the blade.
2. Clean wood residue. If the wood leaves residue on the blade, such as sap or other substances, clean it with a brush using alcohol, turpentine, or another cleaner. Make sure the blade is dry.
3. Loosen stuck wood pieces. If wood debris is stuck inside the tool, use the included Allen key to separate the two halves of the tool and clean the mechanism thoroughly.

5. Store in a dry environment.
6. If the blades have gotten wet, dry them and apply a thin layer of oil (kitchen oil works well), as with any steel tool.
